How does Health Coaching Work at Resolutions and Beyond?
Your health coach will work with you to support your individual needs throughout your program. We are here to guide you to the resources you need for long term success.
Can Resolutions and Beyond help me?
Regardless of where you are at in your personal journey to health, we can offer you new ideas, tips and resources for reaching your health goals. Whether you are already well on your way to fantastic health or you have just begun, we can be your ally throughout your journey to optimum health and wellness. To be certain that we are the best fit for you, we offer a free 15 minute strategy session.
Do I have to attend appointments, weigh-ins or meetings? What are my options for support?
In order to get the most out of our health coaching sessions, we encourage all of our clients to meet with their health coach consistently. The number of sessions will vary from client to client. We can "meet" over the phone, communicate via email or text or even Skype. In addition to alternative session meetings, we offer all of our clients email, text and phone support. If you need to get a hold of your health coach prior to your next session, we are just a phone call, email, or text away.
What foods will I eat?
You will eat whole foods that you purchase from your local grocery store. We encourage each client to seek professional medical advice when it comes to supplementing their diet based on specific conditions and personal needs. We are health coaches, not doctors, therefore we strongly advise all of our clients to utilize their doctor and health coach for a team approach to wellness. Our approach to health and wellness is based on creating healthy habits, learning how to eat for life and making lifestyle changes that will stay with you forever. We do not advocate for quick weight loss, short-term fixes or "challenges" that cannot be sustained long term. Our program revolves around your needs, likes/dislikes, lifestyle, personality, family, work obligations, and available resources.
What happens after I reach my goals?
Lifestyle changes are a long-term investment and require continued effort. We offer maintenance sessions for our clients who completed their program and reached their health and wellness goals. These maintenance sessions are not required but are encouraged! Maintenance offers a layer of support that can make adhering to the recent healthy lifestyle changes a little easier with the continued support of your health coach. Maintenance sessions differ in the content, frequency, and goals from that of the regular health coaching sessions. Maintenance sessions may be as frequent as bi-weekly, monthly or less if desired. However, we believe that monthly maintenance check-ins provide a solid foundation for long-term success of behavior change.
How are the programs structured?
Each program includes support, goal setting strategies, education, and guidance to additional resources. The health coach works with the client to create a program designed to help the client meet their goals.
How do I know what program is right for me?
We offer a free strategy session to give you an overview of what we have to offer and to determine if our health coaching services will be a good fit for your needs. This session is designed to give you a general idea of how we may be of service to you...risk free! If there is any question about your eligibility of participating in our services, we will seek your doctors approval before beginning any services. We want your doctor to be involved in your care with us and encourage communication between you, your doctor and the health coach. We all work as a team to ensure that you receive full benefits of our coaching sessions. Once we have determined that we will be a great resource for you, then you will be invited to take part in the in private, in-person assessment with your health coach. The assessments consist of a variety of information gathering techniques that we will cover in your free consultation.
How much do the programs cost?
The cost depends on the duration of the program and number of sessions included in the program. Some of the programs include discounted maintenance sessions. Your health coach will have a better idea of what program is best for you during your strategy session.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we do accept credit card payments.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we do accept payment plans on select programs. Please consult your health coach for more information.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes, we offer generous discounts for two or more people that participate in sessions together. Please contact us for more details!
How do I get started?
Please call or email us to schedule your free strategy session where we will chat over the phone. From there, you will work with your coach to choose the best plan for you, complete your in-person assessment, and get you started on your journey!
What can I expect during my free strategy session?
During your free strategy session, you and your health coach will get to know each other. Your coach will ask you questions and listen to your goals to learn what your expectations of the program are. The health coach will give you all of the information you need about your proposed program so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not health coaching is right for you. We want you to be comfortable, confident and informed about our health coaching program and we will make sure that we answer all of your questions during this session. The free strategy session will take approximately 15 minutes.
